Prime Minister Helle Thorning-Schmidt has confirmed that emotions ran high at last week’s EU summit, during which the Financial Times has quoted the French president as telling Thorning-Schmidt to keep quiet.
“I will not repeat what was said in our closed meetings. That is not done,” Thorning-Schmidt tells Jyllands-Posten adding: “But when you sit there until five in the morning, you naturally don’t agree on everything”.
