The latest figures from the defence forces show that the cost of Denmark’s participation in the international operation that ousted Col. Gaddafi was DKK 620 million, DKK 324 million of which was operation specific.
Most of the funds were spent on ammunition for the Danish F-16s that were based at the Sigonella base in Sicily, from where the aircraft flew missions into Libya.
