Foreign Minister Villy Søvndal has condemned the sectarian terrorism in Africa’s most populous nation Nigeria in which a Muslim group has embarked on a killing spree and bombed Christian churches, sparking an upsurge of violence in the multi-religious country.
“I deeply condemn the terrorist attacks that have taken place recently in Nigeria in which several have been targeted at Christian churches,” Søvndal says in a communique, adding that he wanted to express his solidarity and support for the Nigerian government in its battle against all forms of terrorism.
