In 2002, former Liberal Prime Minister Anders Fogh Rasmussen was interviewed after his first 100 days in office and said that the Liberal-Conservative government at the time had fulfilled all its promises.
Today is Social Democratic Prime Minister Helle Thorning-Schmidt’s Day 100 – a period that has been plagued with allegations of broken election promises – but the prime minister says that the conditions for her first 100 days have been notably different to those of Anders Fogh Rasmussen.
