Hungary’s response to EU demands for explanations about the country’s controversial new constitution and laws has not been good enough, and Commissioners meeting in Copenhagen Wednesday are expected to hear calls for Hungary to be prosecuted unless changes are made.
“After deep analysis and exchanges of letters with the Hungarians, we have become convinced that politically motivated discrimination is under way in the planned reform of the legal system,” a centrally-placed source tells Politiken.
