The number of unemployed in Denmark fell from November to December by 1,100 to 160,500, with unemployment at 6.1 per cent, according to the latest seasonally adjusted figures from Statistics Denmark.
Statistics Denmark says the drop in unemployment from November to December has benefitted men alone, with female unemployment remaining the same. Male unemployment has dropped by 10,800 since December 2010 and is at 6.1 per cent, while female unemployment has risen by 6,000 in the same period and is at 6.0 per cent.
