For the first time, a comprehensive collection of some 100 drawings by John Lennon is to be exhibited in Denmark in an exhibition arranged by Yoko Ono, according to Kulturen on News.
In the years prior to the Beatles breakthrough, Lennon went to art school in Liverpool and until his death in 1980 had ambitions to be recognised as an artist. The drawings, which will be exhibited at the Hotel Crowne Plaza – Copenhagen Towers, depict Lennon’s life with his family and friends.
