Chinese pine nuts withdrawn

The Danish Food and Veterinary Administration says that a consignment of ecological Chinese pine nuts has been withdrawn as the variety of nuts are known to cause dysgeusia or Pine Mouth Syndrome.

According to the FVA, the consignment, which has been sold in outlets throughout the country in 75 gram bags and with a best by date of 30/06/2012, contains Chinese White Pine (pinus armandii) nuts that can cause dysgeusia in some people.
