Prime Minister Helle Thorning-Schmidt is due to sign the Europact on behalf of Denmark on Friday, and says that the event is a signal to the markets that Denmark’s economic policy is in order.
“There is no doubt that the new discipline in economic policy in Europe will be good for Denmark. It’s good for the Danish economy to signal that we also live up to the new discipline,” says Helle Thorning-Schmidt.
