The Danish handball icon Mikkel Hansen can add yet another title to his collection after winning the European Handball Championships in January.
The International Handball Federation (IHF) has named the Danish player as the world’s best handball player for 2011 – the first Dane to be awarded the title. The IHF awards the title based on responses from fans, the media and a group of the federation’s own experts.
