Men run state enterprises

The government is preparing changes in the law to get more women onto the boards of private enterprises, but state enterprises also seem to be far from following the official guidelines.

Laws on equality say that state-run enterprises “should as far as possible have a balanced composition of women and men”. But only 22.6 per cent of board members in the state-run enterprises are women.
