NATO’s Secretary-General Anders Fogh Rasmussen says he cannot rule out some NATO security troops remaining in Afghanistan after 2014.
“Obviously if we have people there training the Afghans we will also have to protect them somehow. We have to take decisions about the security situation,” Fogh Rasmussen said on DR Sunday, adding that the security situation was paramount.
