The Danish industrial FLSmidth is being accused in a DR programme of being responsible for the deaths of several hundred miners while it owned and ran an asbestos mine in Cyprus.
According to the documentary, which is to be aired on Monday, relatives are considering suing FLSmidth, claiming the company allowed miners to quarry asbestos without any form of protection, alleging that the company was aware of the danger of breathing in fibres.
