Denmark’s warship Absalon has released another 17 pirates and set them free on the Somali coast after it has proved impossible to get regional countries to agree to prosecute them.
The 17 were captured on February 27 after Absalon forced their mother ship to stop. On board a Danish unit found 18 Iranian and Pakistani hostages, two of whom died during the incident.
