Abdulhadi al-Khawaja is alive and conscious according to Denmark’s ambassador to Bahrain who has visited the hunger striking human rights activist and reported back to al-Khawaja’s wife Khadia al-Moosawi.
“He told me that he is conscious and lucid. There is nothing wrong with his brain. But physically he is very weak,” al-Moosawi tells Politiken.dk
