A tsunami advisory issued for the Andaman coast in Thailand has caused the Danish charter company Star Tours to begin evacuating its guests in the region to higher ground, according to Star Tours Sales Director Stig Elling.
The Thai Department for Disaster Management said areas affected by the advisory were Phuket, Phang Na and Andaman province.
