Abdulhadi al-Khawaja, who is more than two months into a hunger strike in Bahrain, received a visit from his daughter and lawyer on Sunday, according to his daughter Zainab al-Khawaja.
“My father was brought to us, or rather a skeletal version of my father,” Zainab al-Khawaja says on Twitter adding: “I cannot use the words emaciated or thin. My father looks like someone who is living his final days of a serious illness.”
