Cimber Sterling has informed the Stock Exchange that it is to simplify its business and lay off some 200 employees by the end of October this year.

The changes will result in a reduction in southern European destinations such as Malaga, Florence, Catania in Sicily, Antalya in Turkey, Madeira and Naples.
