Gentofte Council has a particular added reason to mourn the death earlier this week of the country’s uncontested captain of industry Mærsk Mc-Kinney Møller.
The shipowner and magnate inflated Gentofte Council’s coffers by some DKK 150 million each year, or about one percentage point of the council’s tax earnings, according to Børsen.
