The government’s convergence programme, which is due to be presented today, shows Denmark’s deficit this year will be much lower than the government expected in its December Economic Outlook, according to Berlingske.
According to the report, the programme shows this year’s deficit to end at DKK75 billion, some DKK26 billion less than previously predicted, with the 2013 deficit expected at DKK35 billion or 1.9 per cent of GDP.
