The Danish minority in Schleswig-Holstein is headed for government following elections in the German state on Sunday, despite losing one of its four previous mandates.
As forecast in polls prior to the election, the SSV’s three mandates are necessary if the Social Democrats and Greens plan to take over governing the state.
