Danish police arrested two Danish-Somali brothers on Monday evening on charges of conspiracy to commit a terrorist act, and in the case of one of the brothers of having received training at an al-Shabaab camp in Somalia.
One of the brothers was detained on arrival at Copenhagen’s international Kastrup Airport while the other was detained in Aarhus. The brothers are 18 and 23 years old, have Danish passports and have been in the country for some 16 years.
