A court in Odense on Funen has sentenced a 60-year-old son to a suspended 60 days in prison for having helped his sick father who wanted to commit suicide.
One evening, the man gave his terminally ill father a large number of morphine pills dissolved in yoghurt. The next morning, however, a nurse found the man and had him treated. As a result, a further week went by before the man died.
