Prime Minister Helle Thorning-Schmidt is to be one of the speakers at a ceremony on the Norwegian island of Utøya on July 22nd to mark the day a year ago when some 69 young social democrats were massacred by a Norwegian gunman.
According to vg.no, Thorning-Schmidt will be speaking at a closed meeting organised by the Labour Youth movement in Norway, at which Norway’s Prime Minister Jens Stoltenberg will also be speaking.
