The government’s Appointments and Coordination Committee has made its choice as to who should be Denmark’s central bank governor as of the end of January 2013 when the current governor, Niels Bernstein, retires.

He is to be Lars Rohde, who is currently CEO of the ATP pension fund – one of Europe’s largest pension investors.
