An elderly lady in Elsinore seems to have been keeping wild rats as pets, with rat catchers finding her house infested with the rodents, according to Helsingør Dagblad.
According to the report, rats had gnawed through the floorboards and built nests throughout most of the ground floor and cellar. In the pantry next to the kitchen, pest control found enough droppings to fill five wheelbarrows.
