Unemployment continues to rise in Denmark, with the latest figures from Statistics Denmark showing an increase of 1,500 in July and bringing the total number of unemployed in Denmark to a seasonally adjusted 165,700 or 6.3 per cent of the labour force.
July was the third month in a row that unemployment has risen, with Nordea expecting the figure to reach some 170,000 by year’s end.
