The former Danish prime minister, Anders Fogh Rasmussen, is to continue as secretary-general of NATO for a further year.
According to Politiken.dk’s information, Fogh will be making an announcement at 2 p.m. during which he will reveal that the 28 allied ambassadors have agreed to let him continue as secretary-general until the summer of 2014. His current four-year mandate ends in 2013.
