The government’s plan to cut back on subsidies to the Gamle By in Aarhus has caused some consternation elsewhere in Europe's museum community.
Museums in both Britain and Sweden have written letters of support to Den Gamle By in an attempt to help stop plans to cut DKK2.8million in state subsidies to the historical site, according to Jyllands-Posten.
