The next few years will see fewer and fewer employees at Danske Bank, which has announced that a further 1,000 jobs are to go – over and above the 1,000 previously announced.
“The group’s focus on optimising processes, branch closures, improvements and automisation of customer service will, coupled with changed customer behaviour, result in a reduction in staff of about 2,000 between 2013 and 2015,” the bank says in a statement.
