Fire broke out early this morning on board the Stena Nautica passenger and car ferry, which was on its way from Grenaa in Denmark to Varberg in Sweden.
The Swedish rescue service says the alarm was raised shortly before 5 a.m. while the ferry was some 10 nautical miles off Varberg. The fire is under control and none of the 77 passengers and 40 crew have been hurt.
