Denmark’s toy icon LEGO is to close some of its production in Denmark and axe some 380 Danish jobs over the next 2½ years.
“Some employees will perhaps leave us anyway, but others may be able to find new competences and find work elsewhere in LEGO. But we cannot, unfortunately avoid laying off employees,” says LEGO CEO Jørgen Vig Knudstorp in a news release.
