Two rank and file members of the Socialist People’s Party have begun to collect signatures to force the party leadership to vote against the government’s reform of the social security system.

Leif Skrydstrup Jensen and Tenna Vedert Birk, who are both candidates for the party in November’s local elections, say they will not support the government’s plans to cut both educational grants and social security for young people under the age of 30.
