The former US Ambassador-at-Large on War Crimes Issues Pierre-Richard Prosper has criticised Denmark for not keeping its end of the bargain to allow the Danish Guantanamo prisoner Slimane Hadj Abderahmane to be repatriated in 2004, according to DR’s 21 Søndag.
Abderahmane, who was held in extrajudicial detention in Guantanamo from 2002 to 2004, was reported killed in Syria three weeks ago.
