Strong wintry gales have begun moving into Denmark with the Met Office issuing warnings for snowstorms over the next couple of days, starting in the south and southwest and spreading to the rest of the country.
“We have problems with items strewn across motorways, for example” says Anders Bach Sørensen of the Road Directorate. The strong winds will increase in intensity for the rest of the morning, but will die down this afternoon.
