Denmark’s Western High Court has begun prosecution appeal hearings today in the embezzlement and tax fraud case against senior representatives of the Tvind group, but without the five accused in the dock.
Tvind’s founder – Mogens Amdi Pedersen – as well as Kirsten Larsen, Marlene Gunst, Sten Byrner and Christie Pripps are accused of embezzlement and tax fraud in connection with alleged fund transfers between the various international aid projects in the Tvind empire.
