Denmark’s Chief of Defence has reported that a video showing the abuse of Iraqi civilians by Iraqi forces in 2004 was indeed filmed by Danish soldiers, contrary to previous statements.
“It has been determined that several of the Defence Force statements regarding video footage during Operation Green Desert were not based on sufficient knowledge,” the statement from Defence Chief General Peter Bertram says.
