Fewer breeding birds in Wadden Sea

The number of breeding birds such as the Northern Lapwing and Oystercatcher in the Wadden Sea is falling so dramatically that ornithologists and biologists have rung the alarm bells and are calling for political action.

The move comes following alarming results of a bird count carried out by the National Centre for Environment and Energy (DCE) at Aarhus University
