A soldier was seriously injured today by powder from a cannon fired at Kronborg Castle in Elsinore in honour of the Prince Consort Prince Henrik’s birthday, North Zealand Police has confirmed.
“The accident took place in connection with a salute to commemorate Prince Henrik’s birthday. A helicopter has arrived to take the soldier to Rigshospitalet,” North Zealand Police Duty Officer Ole Hestbæk says.
