The Copenhagen High Court has ruled against a former smoker who had brought a case against The House of Prince tobacco company for the problems he encountered after 50 years of smoking a popular brand of cigarettes.

Although Allan Lykke Jensen went to court accepting it was unhealthy to smoke, he and his counsel maintained that producers had included additives that gave cigarettes a greater impact on smokers than the declaration stated, and released more nicotine.
