After only 19 months as the CEO of Denmark’s largest bank, Danske Bank, Ejvind Kolding has been relieved of his duties with immediate effect and has been replaced in an internal appointment by Norwegian Thomas F. Borgen.

“We are in a new phase in which the bank is to be transformed into a more customer-oriented bank,” says Board Chairman Ole Andersen.
