Cycling’s winter break is long.

After the conclusion of the Tour of Lombardy in mid-October, there are three months before the Tour Down Under kicks off as the first major race of the new year. Another month of waiting is necessary before the starting gun fires for Omloop Nieuwsblad, the first significant race on European soil.
