Nabobordet var flyvende. Et ungt forældrepar, der maxede de gyldne timer ud, før babysitteren skulle afløses. De svævede i pendulfart mellem bord, bar og rygernes faste holdeplads: gaden. Han handlede boliger, hun arbejdede med turisme.

Alt det ved jeg, fordi man på denne Aarhus-restaurant sidder tættere, end du nødvendigvis gør hjemme ved dit eget spisebord. En intimsfære er som bekendt mellem nul og 45 cm, den private sfære mellem 45 og 120 cm og den sociale sfære, altså den afstand vi ifølge studier gerne vil holde til fremmede og bekendte, er 120 cm til 3,5 meter. Her bevægede vi os denne aften mellem intim og privat. Heldigvis havde vi hyggelige naboer, og sommeren var allevegne.
