It’s insanely funny when comedians heckle. Am I allowed to join in as an audience member?

»Yes, you can. You just have to be prepared that you’ve walked into a room where I’m relatively good at what I do, and it’s going to sting when you get something thrown back at you. As a comedian, you often run into hecklers at company Christmas parties. It’s usually the funniest guy at the company who maybe feels threatened that I’m coming in to be the funny one, so he feels like he has to say something. The trick is to keep a good balance. I have to roast him just enough that he understands I’m the one in control. But it can’t be too much, either, or the whole company suddenly turns on me«.
