It only takes five minutes a day, but it can make all the difference between health and illness

»Today, I’ve already consumed 800 grams of vegetables«. Mads Præstmark is 51 years old and a head chef. He trained at Søllerød Kro and has worked at several renowned Michelin restaurants. But his eating habits are not like most people’s.

Every day, he throws about half a kilo of vegetables into a blender, lets the motor crush the contents into a liquid that he can drink in just a few minutes.

The starting point was a major lifestyle change three years ago. He enrolled in a program with a dietitian, and over the course of four months, he lost what he describes as »a medium-sized German Shepherd«. Approximately 30 kilos were shed primarily by swapping pasta, rice, bread, and meat for a diet consisting of vegetables, lentils, beans, plant oils, fish, and chicken.
