In the physician’s oath, the declaration made by newly graduated doctors to perform their work conscientiously, it states that »I shall always strive to use my knowledge diligently and carefully for the benefit of society and my fellow human beings...«.

The physician’s oath does not say anything about using one’s knowledge for the benefit of those who have passed away.
