An electricity tax reduction will benefit all Danes, but one group stands to gain the most. This is shown by recent calculations from The Economic Council of the Labour Movement.

Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen (Socialdemokratiet, S), flanked by Defense Minister Troels Lund Poulsen (Venstre, V) and Foreign Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen (Moderaterne, M), announced Wednesday that they plan to remove the electricity tax in 2026 and 2027 with the point that it would benefit all Danes.
