Whether it’s to protect whales, for national security reasons, or because he thinks they are too woke, too ugly, or they cause cancer, Donald Trump has expressed a strong hatred for one particular energy technology over the past decade: wind turbines.

»We will not allow wind turbines to be built in the USA. They are killing us. They are killing our beautiful scenery, our valleys, our plains«, the president began in a 2-minute and 39-second-long, rambling monologue a month ago at a press conference in Scotland with European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen.
