The Danish government changes course and is now moving closer to recognizing Palestine as a state.

Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen (Socialdemokratiet, S) has previously rejected the idea of recognizing Palestine until there is a prospect of it being a state with democracy, human rights, and equality.
