Strong feelings and fierce criticism were sparked when the Minister for Children and Education, Mattias Tesfaye (Socialdemokratiet, S), recently described some Danish schoolchildren as »PDO«, pissedårligt opdragede (very poorly raised), and expressed the desire to give teachers greater authority to intervene physically if necessary.
